[MESA, ARIZONA] – The Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club and the Legacy Sports USA today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club to serve as the anchor soccer club of the Legacy Sports & Entertainment Park located on 320 acres in Southeast Mesa, AZ. The MOU establishes an agreement with the intent to call the Legacy Sports & Entertainment Park the future home of Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club.
“As you can imagine with a park of this size, we were approached by many of the largest soccer organizations throughout the Phoenix Metro Area. After months of diligence, Arizona Arsenal was our top choice to partner with and Legacy couldn’t be more excited about our soccer future at the park,” said Legacy Sports USA Chief Operating Officer, Jeff de Laveaga. “Legacy allows Arsenal to train at our World Class facility and take advantage of all that the Park has to offer our athletes, parents, and the community.”

This MOU outlines the shared and individual commitments of Legacy Sports USA to share its sporting facilities within the greater 300 plus acre new Legacy Sports & Entertainment Park opening in 2022, with the Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club. These facilities include:
● 5,500 seat Soccer Stadium
● 2,500 seat Auxiliary Stadium
● 24 Turf Fields
● 12 Natural Grass Fields
● Soccer Performance Playground, modeled after Manchester United’s Performance Playground
● Concessions Stands & Multiple Restrooms
● Coaching Towers
● Cover Team Benches
● Kwik Set Goals for all age divisions
The MOU also grants Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club access to Former Gold Medalist and five-time World Champion, Dan O’Brien’s state-of-the-art performance Training Center. The Training Center will provide training facilities for the club, including team training areas with an indoor turf field, 4 land track areas for speed training, and (16) weight training platforms. The Legacy Sports complex will also provide a 600,000-sq. ft. field housing, where players and coaches of Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club will have the opportunity to train on their six Olympic size Futsal courts.
The Legacy Sports USA’s facilities also support athlete activities with its (16) Basketball Courts, (53) Volleyball Courts, (12) Softball/Baseball Fields,|(41) Pickleball, (12) Sand Volleyball Courts, Futsal, Gymnastics Center, Dance Center, Cheer Center,, and 3.5 Mile walking/jogging track.
