Coach Jessica Grohman played competitive volleyball at the highest level for 8 years. She grew up right here in Arizona, graduating from Dobson High School, where her team took 3rd in the state her senior year. After finishing college and working as a pediatric dental hygienist, she recognized that the east valley had a need for a competitive volleyball club where the focus was on the player. She started Altitude Volleyball Club in November 2012. The club was focused on player development, recruiting quality coaches and having a pay reasonable structure, grew the Club surprisingly quickly. With zero marketing dollars, word of mouth from happy players/parents, grew the club from 3 teams to 16 teams. Coach Grohman coached 1-2 of the club teams almost every season, bringing home gold/silver medals with her travel teams every season starting with the very first travel 14s team.
