MESA, Ariz. – Legacy Sports USA announced today it has signed an agreement to partner with Just4hoopin, a community leader for youth basketball in the East Valley, to host all of its leagues, tournaments and events at Legacy Sports Park in Mesa starting in 2022.
Legacy Sports Park will manage and operate Just4hoopin powered by Legacy Sports USA at its state-of-the-art facility that features 19 basketball courts and will directed by Just4hoopin owner Justin Peterson.
“Justin and his Just4hoopin organization has a successful 20-year history here in the Valley and I’ve personally known him for all of those 20 years,” said Jeff de Laveaga, Chief Operating Officer of Legacy Sports USA. “What I really like about Justin is that he cares not only about the kids, but he cares about giving a great experience to all involved.”
Just4hoopin is dedicated to promoting basketball as an outlet for young athletes, both boy and girls, to build self-confidence, self-esteem, physical health, and positive body image on and off the court. These young athletes will be given the opportunity to improve their athletic skills by participating in tournaments, leagues, camps, clubs and other events through Just4hoopin programming. There are currently 10 tournaments on the schedule to be played at Legacy Sports Park in 2022, including Just4hoopin’s big MLK tournament in January.

Just4hoopin is a non-profit organization with a vision for all youth to be members of a sports team to provide an opportunity to be healthy, fit and safely engage in healthy activities. This vision helps teach important skills like sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, healthy competition and physical fitness. Just4hoopin recently expanded its program from basketball tournaments to other youth serving programs related to health, sports, exercise and life skills initiatives. Legacy Sports Park is a privately owned, 320-acre multi-use family sports and entertainment complex in Mesa, Ariz., currently under construction with plans to officially open to the public in January of 2022.
