LEGACY SPORTS USA PARTNERS WITH REZZIL TO BRING VIRTUAL REALITY SOCCER PROGRAMMING TO LEGACY SPORTS PARK

VR PLATFORM WILL FOCUS ON RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE SOCCER TRAINING, AS WELL AS FUN FAN ENGAGEMENT

MESA, Ariz. – Legacy Sports USA announced today an agreement with Rezzil, the world’s leading virtual reality platform for developing elite athletes, to bring its virtual reality (VR) developmental soccer program to Legacy Sports Park starting in 2022.

Rezzil brings the VR experience to a whole new level with its revolutionary technology and platform that offers ideas and solutions for players, coaches, teams, analytics departments, Physio and PT programs, and fan engagement.

Rezzil’s VR Training and Cognitive Development Program runs a series of compact, measurable drills where players interact with a virtual ball using natural movement patterns. With thousands of “natural movement” data points, the VR training helps create an analytical assessment of a player’s wellness, cognitive capabilities, and skill level.

Multiple environments can get used to simulate extreme game pressure simulation scenarios. VR Training is a safer, more controlled way to train for game situations off the field. Further, it empowers players to train year-round and track their results as they train.

“We are incredibly excited to be hosting Rezzil on the Legacy Sports Park campus,” said Richard Nuttall, Director of Soccer for Legacy Sports USA.  “It will be a unique Virtual Reality set up where players can enhance their skills and measure themselves with their peers, locally, regionally and nationally, as well as just having some good old-fashioned fun enjoying the VR experience.”

Rezzil’s VR platform at Legacy Sports Park will focus on both recreational and competitive soccer training, as well as pure fun fan engagement for teams or individuals.

On the training side, players will get a fully immersive virtual reality soccer experience that will be intense, engaging, fun and competitive, while helping players become more cognitively aware on the field.

On the fun side, there will be plenty of fan engagement opportunities from VR games like soccer darts or soccer mini golf, and there also will be a number of various tournaments available with prizes awarded to top scorers.

“We are extremely excited to be part of Legacy Sports Park.  It is an ultimate sports destination that will be a great place to showcase the abilities of Rezzil,” said Christian Barsanti, Operations Director of Rezzil.  “This will give us an opportunity to gain exposure not only in soccer, but in other sports as well.”

Founded in 2017 in Manchester England, Rezzil has created an ecosystem of VR products designed to capture the enthusiasm of a fan and the competitive nature of the athlete in an immersive experience like no other.  For more information visit www.Rezzil.com
