Garrett Lever was an Assistant coach for the Weber State Men’s Basketball program for 7 years. In his time with the Wildcats he was part of two Big Sky Championship teams and two trips to the NCAA Tournament. Garrett was also the head of player development where we worked with NBA Draft pick Joel Bolomboy. Jeremy Senglin, Weber State’s all-time leading scorer. Jerrick Harding first team All-Conference player. Other notable players including Houston native Kyndahl Hill, Canadian prospect Cody John and Arizona local Ryan Richardson and Richaud Gittens. In his role as an Assistant Coach, Lever assisted in all areas of the program including recruiting, scouting and leading the Men’s Basketballs youth camps, elite camps and clinics for 7 years.

Lever played two seasons of college basketball at Seattle University where he was a 2 year starter. Prior to his time at Seattle, he played one season at Midland Junior College where he helped lead the team to a regional championship and a trip to the championship game of the National Junior College Tournament. He averaged 2.3 steals per game that season, fifth best in the nation. He also played one season at Nebraska-Kearney where he led the nation in steals at 3.6 per game, and averaged 13 points per game and 4 rebounds. He was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Lever is a native of Phoenix, Ariz., where he attended Desert Vista High School and earned First Team All-City and All-Region honors and Second Team All-State honors.
