Kayla brings a wealth of experience from the collegiate ranks as both a standout student-athlete and an impressive coaching resume. Most recently, Hogan served as an assistant coach at Division III Ithaca College where she helped lead them to back to back NCAA appearances. Prior to Ithaca, Hogan was at Division I Winthrop University where the Eagles made it to the Big South championship each season. Before heading to Winthrop she was the assistant coach at Queens University of Charlotte. While at Queens the squad made the NCAA tournament and advanced to the elite eight for the first time in program history. Hogan earned her under-graduate degree from Mercyhurst University in 2013 as a standout student-athlete on Mercyhurst’s women’s lacrosse team. She accumulated 191 points over her collegiate career from 2009-2013 while double majoring in early childhood education and special education. She also earned her master’s degree from Bloomsburg in higher education with a focus on student affairs. Kayla moved to Arizona with her husband Jordan who coaches for the Cardinals and they have one daughter Mara.
