Rebecca Hingst serves as the Director of Youth Camps and Education for Legacy Sports USA, LLC. She is a firm believer in using the discipline of athletics as a molding tool for youth development in the areas of motivation, collaboration, self-confidence, and physical fitness.
She is a former educator of thirteen years. During this time, she served as the Chair of the Gifted and Talented Program for which she was a writer of curriculum. Here in Arizona, she worked as a mentor for student athletes at ASU, helping them manage their academics. Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed working with all students and guiding them through their academic journeys. She proudly served on the board of the Valley Athletic Booster Club which funds scholarships for student athletes at the university.
As a dedicated mother of three sons, her focus was to raise them to appreciate life’s opportunities, have strong work ethics, and encourage them to always give their best, both on and off the field. Her boys were great student athletes, in high school and in college at the best D1 University around…ASU! She and her family found great joy and built fond memories in all of the camps and programs they participated in. It was through this involvement that her sons’ athletics blossomed. She aspires to share the wealth of her knowledge of these programs, integrating their concepts in addition to her own into her directorship.
Rebecca looks forward to establishing the foundation of youth sports camps and physical education for Legacy, developing and implementing innovative approaches to sports programs, creating a unique teambuilding culture, and providing each participant with an unparalleled experience rich in athletics, physical education, and personal growth.
She resides in Gilbert, and as a recent transplant from Texas has found home in Arizona!
