Chief Financial Officer
Tyler Simons joined Legacy Sports USA in August 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Simons has 16-years of commercial and investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Simons was a Director in Ziegler Investment Bank’s General Municipal & Structured Finance Practice. Mr. Simons was responsible for the $283.77 million bond raise for Legacy Cares, Inc., and is intimately familiar with Legacy Cares, Inc. and Legacy Sports USA, LLC finances as he is the principal architect thereof.
While at Ziegler, Mr. Simons was the day-to-day point of contact for highly visible and key clients to the bank. Mr. Simons also provided technical support, performing and overseeing the financial analysis of actual and prospective transactions, researching and analyzing the needs of current and potential clients, performing detailed credit analysis, and assisting in industry research.
Prior to Ziegler, Mr. Simons was at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he focused on general municipal finance and executed general obligation and various revenue backed bond transactions for municipalities nationally. Prior to KeyBanc, Mr. Simons focused on charter school and K-12 district school finance at RBC Capital Markets.
Mr. Simons earned his B.S. in finance from Brigham Young University, The Marriott School of Management in Provo, UT, and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Arizona State University, The W.P. Carey School of Business in Tempe, AZ.
