BEACH VOLLEYBALL CLUB OFFERS LEAGUES, TOURNAMENTS, TRAINING, CLINICS AND MORE IN A "FUN FIRST" ENVIRONMENT
MESA, Ariz. – Legacy Sports USA announced today it has signed an agreement to partner with The Sand Club, an East Valley beach volleyball club, to host all of its leagues, tournaments and events at Legacy Sports Park in Mesa starting in 2022.
Legacy Sports Park will manage and operate The Sand Club powered by Legacy Sports USA at its state-of-the-art facility that features 12 sand volleyball courts and a 1,500 seat Stadium Court.
The Sand Club was created in July of 2007 by owners Allen and Heather Alexander and has grown from eight teams and 32 players to 60 teams and more than 500 players competing in 16 different divisional leagues. The Sand Club prides itself on its “Fun First, Competition Second” motto and offers a variety of programs including sand volleyball training, leagues, tournaments and clinics for youth and adult players of all skill levels.

The Sand Club also hosts a number of special events each year, including Holiday Costume tournaments, Glow in the Dark events, Legacy Championships, USA Volleyball National Qualifiers, AVP Qualifiers and other sand volleyball sanctioned events.

Legacy Sports Park is a privately owned, 320-acre multi-use family sports and entertainment complex in Mesa, Ariz., currently under construction with plans to officially open to the public in January of 2022. Legacy Sports Park will create more than 1,500 jobs and generate hundreds of millions of dollars in direct economic impact back to the surrounding community, with an expected three million visitors annually.
